At Blue Rune Hobby and Games, we want every customer to feel confident when they shop with us. If something isn’t right, we’ll work with you to make it right. Below is our clear and customer-friendly return policy designed to meet industry standards while protecting product integrity.
30-Day Return Window
You may request a return within 30 days of receiving your order.
To qualify, items must be:
- Unopened
- In new, unused condition
- In their original, sealed packaging
- Accompanied by a receipt, packing slip, or order number

Returns sent without prior approval cannot be accepted.
Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery so we can assist quickly.
For damage or defect claims, include:
- Clear photos of the item
- Clear photos of the packaging and shipping label
- Your order number
- A brief description of the issue
After reviewing your claim, we will determine whether a replacement, exchange, or refund is appropriate.
Damage caused after delivery due to improper handling, modification, or misuse is not covered.
Preorders & Special Orders
Preorders and special orders are final sale and cannot be canceled or refunded once placed.
This is standard in the tabletop industry and ensures we can secure your products directly from the manufacturer.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned:
- Preorders and special orders
- Opened or used items
- Clearance or sale items
- Gift cards
Restocking Fee
Approved returns are subject to a 15% restocking and processing fee to cover inspection, handling, secure repackaging, and non-refundable transaction fees.
Shipping costs are non-refundable.
Exchanges
If you want a different item, the fastest method is to return the original item (if eligible).
Once the return is approved, you may place a new order for the desired item.
Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your return, we’ll notify you of the approval status.
If approved, refunds are issued to your original payment method within 10 business days.
Your bank or card provider may require additional time to process the credit.

Order Verification & Cancellation
Blue Rune Hobby and Games reserves the right to cancel and refund any order flagged as high-risk or fraudulent. These cancellations are processed at the customer's expense, and the refund will be issued minus any non-refundable credit card processing fees. Orders providing disconnected phone numbers or unverified addresses will be cancelled immediately.
